Looking beyong the surface, it may be quite true that this was Kamal’s first (at least one of the first) forays into multi- facted character roles; if observed a little closely, one would inevitably notice the differences in body language, dialogues, accents, and of course, the get-ups that Kamal was experimenting … the village bumpkin, modern disco dancer,Basavappa etc.

My memories of the movie are the “Aasai kiliye barla barla…” song and Kamal’s appearance as a ghost.
