New year, new trouble
Saran, after losing out on directing a Kamal movie, has complained to the producers’ association that Kamal has not returned the 2 crores (20 million rupees) advance. Kamal is not in town to respond immediately, but word is that Saran is needlessly creating controversy (in Tamil).
To recollect what led to this situation:
- Saran announced that Kamal will act under his direction, after Dasavatharam
- Saran entered into agreement with Ayngaran International
- Kamal made an exit saying that he was not kept informed

here in TAMIL NADU, all newspaper especially some tamil dailies & some weekly twice magazines r publishing NEGATIVE info (DASA - SenthilKumar case issue) regarding KAMALJI in hurry & flashing it big wallpapers & fonts.
but positive aspect of r not always showed in it. They IGNORE it. I don’t know whether KAMALJI knew this thing or not. But every fan of TN, know this.

Here is a video of furious Kamal, during the release/production of Virumandi. Also, the comments of other politicians regarding tamil movies. I specifically like the way Cheran appreciates and makes a point to everyone to encourage Kamal to take tamil cinema to the international arena.
