Hridaya Ragam, Dasavatharam details
After first getting out the photos of the Hridaya Ragam launch function, it’s now time to move onto the details of this much-publicised event. As a bonus, we have some confirmation on Dasavatharam too.
Hridaya Ragam is a project to conduct open-heart surgeries for children (each costing 100,000 Rupees) from the lower strata of society. While the original target was 100, it has increased by 25% due to generous donation from the Malayala Manorama group. The requisite money will be collected by means of a music programme at Chennai, featuring folks from the Malayalam film industry and to be inaugurated by Illaiyaraaja. Kamal has associated himself as project ambassador. In the function / press conference held a few days ago, Kamal launched the ticket sales.
On the sidelines, he confirmed what we already have been hearing: the audio of Dasavatharam will be released in March and the movie itself in April. He also said that Jackie Chan gracing the former was indeed in the works. He had praise for Himesh Reshammiya’s music. There was confirmation of talks with Walt Disney too.

I heard , Devi Sri Prasad is doing the BGM for Dasavatharam … I just wonder , why Himesh left Dasa in this situation . Some tell its because he is busy in Bolly with his film in which he acts as a hero. But that doesnt seem to be acceptable, because dasa is going to be great film , how would he left the film this close to finish … Also i consider BGM for any kamal film plays an wonderful role… And i m feared how Devi Sri Prasad is going to handle it and also i dont wanna the bad BGM to spoil the nature of the film and also the hardwork put into it by our man…
Guys, please comment me on this … also excuse me if i m wrong about devi sri prasad , i dont know his achievements in the industry , i only know him as a small time music director … please comment me about this man(devi sri prasad)

Even if that announcement may be a major break for Devi Sri Prasad, the maestro Raja would have been a wonderful option for the BGM for Dasa.
Yet, with so many available options, if Devi Sri Prasad is the best, it could well be a revelation … that Devi Sri Prasad can actually deliver the goods. Maybe Kamal knows something more than us …

i too go with Manix on his thought , even if Devi Sri Prasad would be a kinda choice , Raja would be the ultimatum , anyone could have for one of their ultimate movies … In this present context of Dasa, i dont know how well Devi Sri is gonna fit into ….
I just wanna plead him not to spoil the masterpiece…
P.S: i donno where all you guys are from . Cant we just introduce ourself and our profession …
It will definitely bring us in more a kind of brotherhood for KAMALji … yes men , we need to form a brotherhood for HIM ….

Dont worry fellows, i heard Devi Prasad ia also doing music for another big movie like kanthasamy……but what’s not well acceptable is why should himesh accept such a request to being a music director for dasavatharam if he’s busy. Watever, we hope devi prasad can do well for this movie…..Go on devi prasad…..
