Honouring KM Aadimoolam
Kamal continued his mission of honouring artistes of various fields by participating in a book release function a few days ago. Azhiyaa Kodugal was the biography of the renowned artist KM Aadimoolam, who coincidentally passed away last month. Hence, the function also turned out to be a homage meeting. Many famous personalities including Jayakanthan and Sivakumar also participated.

IndiaGlitz has more photos and a nice video, featuring Kamal’s full speech. Kamal revealed that the angry Gandhi drawing featured in Hey Ram was done by Aadimoolam.

This is not the first time he’s seen hobnobbing with the literary circle. With so much of knowledge and inside information, I’d be terribly disappointed if he didn’t release a book or two. I’ve been hearing news that he’s getting ready to release his poems. But I’d love to see a full fledged fiction or non-fiction book from Mr. Kamal Hassan. The guy simply overflows with knowledge. It would be great if he can share it in the form of books. True, his movies have a lot of hidden meanings and innuendos, but still only a few can comprehend them. It would be great if he can make his mark in history with a few of his literary works. Kamal sir, if you happen to read this, please consider this a reflection of the popular opinion among millions and millions of your fans all over the world.
