Going by the 'taste' of Tamil audience, I'm not sure if a lot of them might be able to comprehend the rivalry that existed between Shaivites and Vaishnavites and the consequences from then on. But then, if the package is good enough, the content does not matter - at least, for most of the people in this country. How else can someone explain the success of movies like Dhoom and Billa? It’s actually surprising to see Kamal being so confident about the success of Dasavatharam.
