Dasavtharam - Another crap from the useless who used to experiment on others money. Oscar is the only aim for him so he make the producers goes bankruptcy but naturally oscar is the producer for this so he is going to bring oscar to street aha aha.
Kamal hassan is a gr8 sombu recent dasavatharam audio release fuctions tells the tale.
He is an over rated actor if you ask him to act for 5 Rs he will act for 10 Rs.
Even dhanush,Bharath,simbu having a better box office ratio than our kamal so called the actor.
We all know kalaipuli dhanu a big producer who caught in the bankruptcy after producing Alavandhan.
He wrote about this in dina thanthi even super star came to resce for dhanu and told him he will provide any help if needed.
Dhanu recoverd from bankruptcy by producing kaka kaka movie. Now its turn to oscar to go bankruptcy for his recovery varanam aiyaram is comming up so kamal needs surya to bail him.

The moral of the above is if any producers who wants to produce a movie with kamal Should ensure he is having other actors call sheet to recover the cost which he lost by producing Kamal.

Kamalhassan makes Rich Producer to Poor one

International movie production house Walt disney came to know Mr kamal’s Box office ratio so they decide to withdraw from Marmayogi, Hurray Gr8 escape for Walt disney now Mr Kamal will beg for producers.

Dasa story is looted from Mr X who is also filed the complaint but using his political influence(sombu to kalingar)
he threat the innocent.

To grab public attention he came up with 10 roles but what goes to producers pocket is a million dollar question.
will Public come to watch his movie its a billion dollar question.
Bur for our super star screen presence is more than enough cash registers will start ringing.

Kamal is an actor not only in reel life but also in real life thatz why public hates his movie and keep off from theatres.
Now Producers council decided not to produce Kamal movie and taking shelter in streets.

after aalavandhan, Kamal’s all the movies getting good opening and good box office records, thalaivar Kamal’s VV hits Rs 48.3 crores, it’s budget Rs 22 Crores only. profit about 110%. But sivaji budget was Rs 86 crores and make Rs 120 crores, profit 39.8% only. Money looks big but profit was less this not success, lot of sivaji distributers not satisfied.. it means sivaji also utter flop movie in rajini’s history. But there are always some troublemakers who are jaleous with this project. Specialy Superstar’s fans because Rajini can’t and will never make a movie such as DASAVATHARAM !!! They all think that ROBO will make it….It just make me laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even Shankar is jaleous because his Sivaji which was the costliest movie in kollywood is far behind Dasavatharam trailer and even Billa ( with Ajith ) looks more stylish!!!!
I think Rajini has made his time, every filmmakers want to work with him to make only money and not good cinema.Rajini fans should watch DASAVATHARAM without expecting that it will be a bad movie.

I certainly agree that Rajini can’t and will never make a “dud” movie like Dasavatharam.

Honestly, I had good hopes on Dasavatharam. There was a huge hype saying that people cannot recognise Kamal plenty of his 10 get-ups like the Sardarji get-up.

But, since I saw the clipping of “O o sanam” song I lost my hopes. Comeon !!! tell me which Sardaji will do those kind of steps? Even if Kamal had covered his entire face, the dance movements just tell me that the person is Kamal. Few of the steps are the same he did in the “Thada” song with Urmila in Indian.

Few here are telling that Kamal is a Tamilian and all Tamilians will support him. Maybe true.
But, Superstar is a INDIAN. So, all Indians (this includes Tamilians too) will support him.

dasavatharam audio launch collection? ha ha ha .. what a lie? are people fools to hear this? see the hindu paper… they have written an article that dasavatharam music has failed to attract fans. The total collection till now has not even touched Ras.2 crores. do u know about sivaji s audio sales record.. It is Rs.5.67 crores….
so once again a kamal fan proves that he s a liar… Rajni fans always have proof.just read newspapers and other documents to know about a movie’s collection details. And dont say they r wrong. If they r wrong then what u say is also wrong. Because u dont have any proof. Trands of movies released worldwide…

Sivaji made at a cost of 80 crores.

Made 60 crores in first week. 95 crores in 3 weeks and totaled 140 crores.
Profit 60 crores.

OSO - made at (Not sure)

Made 40 crores in the first week and made 86 crores total.

The trend here is the total collection is 2.25 times the first week collection.

Dasavatharam - made at 140 crores (as many proud fans would say)

Made 35 crores (very optimistic estimate) in the first week. (all over the world. The data seems even less but in the event of no news (which means bad news) i am tempted to take a very optimistic number.

Projection towards 80 crores in ticket sales. (2.25 times first week collection.)

Total loss - 60 crores.

Will be surprised if it recovers the money. Forget being a super mega hit and other nonsense.

When Dasa was announced the fanatics went gaga saying that it is the costliest Indian movie ever to be made at 140 crores. (Sivaji was 80 plus crores)
Now when we take a stock of the profits dasa is at 65 crores? Well the data was got from wiki page created from the fans. The cost of the movie should include the marketing/promotional cost (cost of flying down Jackie Chan), salary of Kamal and all the expenses.

My estimate of the collection is very optimistic and I would be surprised if it even makes 70 crores. Whatever it was not worth the effort and time spending whatever crores to make this mishap of a movie. Either it is a complete entertainer and no hang ups about it or make a ‘good’ movie where some real critics praise the movie.

This is what happens if you make a mish mash. Neither here nor there. A torture even for the fans of Kamal.

It is tough to face the facts with hard numbers?

But nobody has grown without facing tough facts. It is good for all.

Effort alone can not be a benchmark. It’s like saying I studied 10 hours a day for 3 months and still failed.
Somebody else just did it for 3 hours everyday and passed with distinction.

If you are in the corporate world also you would see many such examples.

Stop calling something a hit when it has failed miserably. Nobody has to feel miserable about it. Just grow out of it.

a) Coming to the domestic market or rather the regional market, Kamal Hassan’s Dasavataram raked in Rs 3 crore in Chennai, and Rs 21 crore for the whole of Tamil Nadu. In the non-Southern markets, which got about 80% occupancy, the film grossed about Rs 60 lakh in the first three days of its running.
The film is anticipated to rake in close to Rs 100 crore as its theatrical revenue at the end of this week, as Chennai theatre owners state that the bookings for the next 10 days are house-full. If compared to Rajnikant’s Sivaji the film grossed over 25 crore in its first one week. Given the current figures, Kamal Hassan is currently one up.

b) Kamal Hasan’s Dasavatharam has taken flying start in Andhra Pradesh. Although the film has not received rosy reviews and feedback, the initial collections for the film are extraordinary. The film has got biggest openings in Kamal’s career.

They have covered up the actual facts containing the truth. And the tone of the story is a bit biased..they are comparing the box-office returns with another ‘big’ movie. I have to say that they must be comparing the facts from boxofficemojo.com. And I have to agree that comparisons on UK and Malaysia box-office returns are correct. For both Dasa and Sivaji. But how come they have not brought in the most important fact…International box-office total??? Like our dear fren ahamed said Dasa’s collection after 2 weeks has gone US$11,653,212, which itself is a great honour for a tamil film. Sivaji could not even muster half of that sum in it’s overall run and it could only garner US$4 million after it’s 3rd week, while Dasa managed to rake that amount in it’s 1st week itself. Please look up to ahamed’s link to see the point I’m making.I don’t even want to bring up anything about Sivaji.It’s a tamil film as well and I’m happy for whatever it has gained. But please don’t give wrong facts about Dasa. It gives a negative impact especially when it comes from a website such as Behindwoods.com.
