After a whole lot of back and forth confusion, the ‘final’ final release date of Dasavathaaram is June 13 (June 12 in some locations).
News has been pouring in, ranging from 1200 prints to theatres in Chennai (Sify.com | Behindwoods | Yahoo | CineSouth). Mumbai is excited to the extent of a closed theatre being re-opened temporarily. Below is a hoarding / billboard in Kerala.

Its confirmed that Pune theatres(Inox,E-square) are also releasing Dasavataram
13th june.
Even sivaji took 4 weeks to come to pune after its release in tamil nadu

Long waited news comes now. CELEBRATION already started in Tamil Nadu.
Every Tamil channels broadcasting DASA trailer & VODAFONE is also uses DASA clippings in its AD.
All FM radios r repeatedly broadcasting the songs. Totally Its a REAL TREAT waiting for the KAMALJI fans on coming 13th JUNE.
As per tamil dailies KAMALJI met Tamil Nadu CM on yesterday(5th). This meeting is surely to invite HIM to the Special Show. Another thing is, coming Tuesday 10th june may be Premeir show for cinema industry people & for CM.
Hindi release is delayed. Thatis the major concern. Because DASA release in Tamil,Telugu & Hindi in same day will be a grand one.
During last month Narnia returns, Indiana Jones part 4 & now Jackie chan & Jet Lee starring Forbidden Kingdom were released in TN, dubbed in TAMIL. HUGE MASS & HUGE COLLECTION for these movies. Because of summer holidays, Children & Youth MASS gave good profit booking for theatres. This month is JUNE all the schools & Colleges reopend. I am sure that DASAVATHARAM will do a huge business because of ONE and ONLY KAMALJI. He is bearing all the pains & efforts in his own shoulder. DASA will be a MEGA SUPER HIT No DOUBT about it.

Well well well…This was what we’ve been waiting for, for the past two and a half years. Thank you Randie for all the hardwork you’ve put over the years. Pray that Dasavathaaram would shatter all previous box office records. Wish the cast and the crew all the very best!
